RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Our returns policy lasts for 30 days. If more than 30 days have passed since your purchase, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or exchanges.

In order to be returned, your item must be unused and in the condition in which you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

Certain types of goods may not be returned. For example, perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. Similarly, we do not accept intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials or substances, or flammable liquids or gases. Sale items cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded.

Other items that cannot be returned:
* Gift cards
* Downloadable software
* Certain health and personal care products

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Do not return your purchase to the manufacturer.

In some cases, only partial refunds will be given: (where applicable)
* Books showing signs of use
* CDs, DVDs, VHS tapes, software, video games, audio cassettes or vinyl records that have been opened.
* Any item that is not in its original condition, that is damaged or that is missing parts for a reason that is not due to an error on our part.
* Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (where applicable)
Returns are at the buyer's expense and must be made within 30 days of purchase.

All returns must be requested by e-mail or via our contact form, so that we can tell you how to proceed. We do not process returns from the location where we send our packages. Unfortunately, not all returns sent to the address indicated on the parcel can be processed.

In order to be returned, your item must be unused and in the condition in which you received it. It must also be in its original packaging.

Returns are made to our main warehouse in Dongguan. We advise you to use the Australia Post international delivery service for your return and the cost is approximately $30.

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will send you an e-mail to inform you that we have received the returned item. We will also let you know whether your refund is approved or refused.
If approved, your full refund will be issued and your original credit card or payment method will be automatically credited within 7 business days.

Please note: our 30-day refund policy and the ability to make a return after the statutory cooling-off period are only valid in Australia.

Delayed or missing refunds (where applicable)
If you have not yet received a refund, first check your bank account.
Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time for your refund to be officially posted.
Then contact your bank. There is often a processing time before a refund is posted.

Shipping costs are not refundable.

Sale or promotional items (where applicable)
Only normal priced items are refundable. Items that are on sale, on special offer or have benefited from a promotional code cannot be returned for a refund or an exchange.

Exchanges (where applicable)
We will only replace items that are initially faulty or damaged. If you need to replace yours with the same item, please email us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@ambience-design.com.

Items that have been the subject of an exceptional discount or promotional code are not eligible for exchange.

Exchanges of products are free (product offered) but the sum of $29.99 will be required because of the shipping costs incurred.

All exchanges will be subject to a shipping charge of $29.99 per item.

The same applies to any parcel indicated as delivered but lost by the delivery service.

We offer this method of exchange only once, if the customer makes a mistake in the size reordered they will have to pay for a new order themselves if they wish a new exchange.

Digital items cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Defects
You have 48 hours after receipt of our items to report a defect. After this time, shipping costs of $29.99 will be charged for sending a new replacement item.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at the time of purchase and if it was shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equivalent to the value of the returned item. Once the returned item has been received, a gift voucher will be sent to you by post.

If the item was not marked as a gift at the time of purchase, or if the person who made the gift had the order sent to them with the intention of returning it to you later, we will send the refund to them and they will know that you have returned their gift.

Shipping
To return your product, please first contact us by email.

You are responsible for the shipping costs associated with returning your item. They are not refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return postage will be deducted.

Depending on where you live, the time taken to receive your exchanged product may vary.

If you are shipping an item worth more than $75, we recommend that you use a tracking service or have your shipment insured. We do not guarantee that we will receive the returned item.
